How to Convert Points to Pixels
Points (pt) are a typography measurement used in print. Since 1 inch equals 72 points, the formula is: Pixels = (PT ÷ 72) × DPI
The Conversion Formula
Pixels = (PT ÷ 72) × DPI
For example, to convert 12pt to pixels at 96 DPI: (12 ÷ 72) × 96 = 16 pixels
At 72 DPI (web standard), 1pt = 1px. At 96 DPI (Windows), 1pt ≈ 1.33px.
